1. To strengthen the R&D&i of the chemical sector in Spain, by integrating and complementing all its capacities and knowledge.

2. To create a multiplying effect in the sector member’s competencies, as well as to make the most of the members capacity participate successfully in research actions, technological developments in products and processes, technology management and humans resources training.

3. Promote the use of new technologies and services in sustainable chemistry by the SMEs with less in house capacity in R&D&I, stimulating and helping collaborations with public research centres, universities and technology centres.

4. Support technological and innovation demands from the Spanish R&D+i Plan

5. Cooperating with business programs and intermanagerial cooperation to strengthen the economic and social role of companies and permitting the disclosure and dissemination of good practices in sustainable technology management and knowledge developed between them.

6. To be a reference point for National and European research projects on sustainable chemistry, mainly for the SMEs.

7. To provide a direct gateway to the European Technology Platform on Sustainable Chemistry (SUSCHEM) in order to establish a two way flow of ideas that will serve, on one hand, to take advantage of the recommendations and achievements of SUSCHEM and on the other, to make the Spanish Chemical industry necessities taken into consideration.

8. To serve as a communication tool between Industry and Society with the aim of improving the public awareness of chemistry.

9. To collaborate with public administrations in the draw up of the National Research Plans and include technology demands and needs from the chemical industry.

10. Follow the principles of Sustainable Developement meeting the needs of the present without comprising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
